Clear Vision...

3 days ago Andrew blessed me with a present of getting LASIK!!! Needless to say I was EXTREMELY excited! I had been wearing my glasses/contacts since the 3rd grade! Everything went Fantastic (worst part was NOT wearing makeup)! It is amazing to be able to just open your eyes and SEEEEEEE!!!!!!! The next week entails, DROPS, DROPS, DROPS and more DROPS (oh and NO EYEMAKE UP!! I can deal tho :) )!!!

A day at the Park...

Last Friday we went to the BEST park! It was a beautiful, crisp, 75* weather day! It was the perfect kind of day for the famous, exquisite culinary creation...a PBJ with a side of chips and clementines. And nothing other than wild berry xs. :) We laid on the blanket in the park, did the swings, went through the boxcar, did the monkey bars and best of all the train! Chooo Chooo!!! Thank you Lord for the beautiful day and special people to spend it with!

So Long Geraniums...Hello Mums and Pansies! :) Ok...question for you WHY are pansies called pansies when they are strong enough to be planted in the winter months, withstand extreme temps, ice, snow, wind etc... and then come back out in the spring time and look beautiful???? Pansies....I THINK NOT! haha! I know LAME post....didn't have any good pics for today....but be prepared we are heading out for a picnic on this GORGEOUS day and will have GREAT pics tomorrow!!! :)

weeeellll....I do not have ANY pics from labor day weekend :/ I didn't take any because my friend Karen the photographer was there and she has this new awesome camera...so when she put them on her computer...poof....something happened, she cried, got NO sleep and we are now in mourning over the pics. :( So I will try to explain the funness that we had! It was the first annual BEACH OLYMPICS!!!!! It was HILARIOUS and a BLAST!!!! It involved 3 legged races with a little float holding our legs together, chipping contest, football passes, and the ULTIMATE TUG-OF-WAR! There were So many memories that made that gorgeous day. It is always, with out a doubt, a fun time when you have the beach, sun, good food, and the BEST friends! So, all in all Team Gunshow (that's right, you read correctly) ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!

Last night I met with a group of my sisters for dinner. The great thing about this group is we all have SO much going on, don't see each other often AT ALL, but when we reunite it is like there had been no time lost. We talk, talk, talk the entire time, and no one comes up for air! You feel completely comfortable, and all fuzzy inside... and this is why I love each one of them (and the ones missing)!! This specific dinner was kind of a going away celebration for our dear friend Lauren. She is heading out to San Diego, CA for the next 3 years! She stretches me walking out on faith to see what the Lord has gone before her and prepared! We know it is going to be filled with divine connections, lots of fulfillment and an AMAZING experience! We are expecting Great things for her out there on the Pacific Coast. So we had dinner, lots of laughs, pics, and a prayer of protection to send her on her way! Cheers to New Beginnings! WE LOVE YOU LAUREN!!!!

It's that time of year...again.

Hubby and a few friends/business partners went to see the panthers play last thur. night. They had a lot of fun even tho they seemed to have had nose bleed seats. :)

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!!

Yesterday September 2, we celebrated mom and dad being married for 31 years! Dad had a HUGE surprise up his sleeve for mom, and Andrew and I got to be in on it. He purchased a Mercedes GL350 without Mom knowing! He was at the Yankees/Orioles game this week then flew straight into Wilmington airport to meet mom so they could celebrate their love at the beach. So he sent Andrew to pick up the suv that he wanted for mom (drew loved going to do buy this car with dad's money! HA!). Then Andrew and I drove it down yesterday so that when they pulled in the driveway to the beach house it was sitting there with balloons tied to it. Mom had NO IDEA!!!! Her first comment was "Danny, what did you do!?!" hahaha! Dad did so great and got alot of brownie points! :) We then went to dinner with them at a restaurant called Petronies...good ole Italian. Then it was back on the road for us so they could have some alone time....ewwww!!!!! J/K kind of. :)

I am so thankful for both mom and dad for staying committed to each other. They are and have always been tremendous examples for me in my life and now in my marriage.
