Pool Day...

A few days ago I went to the pool with three of my buddies, between the four of us there were 9 kids and 2 on the way!!!! HOLY! Funny Story...So...I packed my lunch/sunscreen and magazines (Style watch, Architectural Digest, Travel, and Flea Market Style) in my cute little pool bag, headed out to the pool, moved the chairs in PERFECT tanning position, pointed directly toward the sun, got all set up, laid the magazines on the table for all to enjoy. I then go about my business playing with the kids etc. When all of a sudden I heard Jill go "Steph? Did you bring Magazines??? And I said " O yeah they are on the table if you want to read one" ( As I heard this coming out of my mouth I realized... there is NO WAY ON THIS PLANET YOU GET TO READ MAGAZINES WHILE AT THE POOL WITH 9 KIDS!!!!) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! They all start laughing at me and I am sure they were thinking "Oh she IS. IN. FOR. IT." :) It was such a fun day and watching the kids play together was precious!

Can you Believe....

Can you believe that we have NEVER been to IKEA!?!?!? Literally I felt like I was in a home decorating theme park! It is the most organized store I have ever seen...which made me feel all fuzzy inside. :)



We had a shopping day to get some goodies and plan out stacie's kitchen for her reno. We actually got dad to join in on the shopping day fun...he used to love drafting in high school so we told him we needed his help with figuring Stacie's kitchen. He did a fabulous job and I CAN NOT WAIT to see and show you the finished product from her kitchen renovation!!!

May Celebrations...

Backing up a few weeks ago we celebrated my little sister stacie turning 22!!!! We met for brunch at a restaurant called Vivace...very good...(don't take husbands tho...too fru-fru for mine. :) ) We then headed off to the beach for some sun and fun!




I am so completely proud of Stacie, she is rock solid for what she believes in, works her schedule like a master, draws people to her because she is a great listener, stretches herself daily to be the best "stacie" she can be even if it makes her uncomfortable, is a work out queen, disciplined in body, soul, and mind, diligent with her finances and the most pure heart I know! ( I really could go on and on and on)

I am so excited for her, not only did she turn 22 but she bought her very own HOME!!!



She is totally deserving of this beautiful home the Lord has blessed her with!

I know that everyone who walks in her home will feel the presence of the Lord all around them and be at peace because that is what Stacie exudes!

She closed on her home the morning of MY birthday so we all met for breakfast at the Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village to Celebrate...





It was a GREAT day! Looking forward to the wonderful memories to be made in Stacie's home...oh and decorating it! :)

Old things made new...

Right now I am working on these two Gorgeous Lovlies for a friend...Andrew thought I was CrAzY for wanting to do these now...but for some reason I can NOT say "NO" to painting furniture...I LOOOOVE it! They will have a TOTAL transformation by the time I am done with them...




I will keep ya updated. But, for now check out my friends kitchen table...GORGEOUS right!?!?! It is bigger in person and seats up to eight! Oh and check out the seafoam green bakers hutch! AHHHHH! Just beautiful!

While The Dudes Are Away... The Women Will Play...

This past weekend Dad, Drew and some other man friends went to the beach house for an all dude weekend, SO while they were chowing out on Ribeyes, playing all the basketball, tennis and football they could muster...Mom, Stacie, and I did this...





We enjoyed painting goodies for Saylor's Room!!!!! (This is NOT what mom calls a fun weekend but, I loooooved it and thanked her over and over again for helping.) I can not wait to reveal her room to you!!!! The walls have been painted, furniture painted, decorations painted, now we just have to get all those finishing touches!

Hows about some scones...(said with an english accent)

Last week the family enjoyed Scones and Coffee at mom and dad's one morning and, it HIT. THE. SPOT. Loved walking in the house to the smell of carbs and cinnamon baking...MMMMmmmm.....along with the delicious coffee. Then we all sat there for about an hour and a half talking. Family time is the best. :)
