Beach Blast 2010

This annual beach trip is one of my absolute favorites the whole summer. When the Winters and Snipes' families get together there is fun to be had! Being loud, obnoxious, crazy, and laughing is our forte!



The ladies headed out for some shopping and antique hunting in Southport...


And the boys talked...and played (bball, tennis and a major competitive volleyball game)...


We celebrated all the summer birthday's one night. Major fun and it felt like Christmas...even more fun!

Packed up the boat...and headed over to Bald Head Island for the day! Love going for a boat trip there. Beautiful houses to look at and a really fun atmosphere!



When we got to Bald Head we all tracked over to get our golf cart (the only way of transportation on the island) only to find out that they HAD NONE!!! O my...plan B...BIKES! We were actually all very excited about our biking adventure...little did we know that we would take the loooooooooongest route to the beach...a few got lost on the way...we had to send out our own search and rescue to find him...later found him at Eb and Flo's watching a baseball game...he got distracted but, was completely happy and in his element. :)




Finally after our 50.35 mile bike ride we reached the beach!!!!!






Such a relaxing, incredibly fun weekend with precious memories made!
